2010 Olympic Men's Hockey….wow!!

Hoping others had a chance to watch some GREAT men’s hockey last night (Thursday, February 18). Both games went into a shoot-out. Both games were hockey at its best. To see all those NHL players in one place is just too cool. It was fun seeing Pronger going after opponents. (I find his playing so entertaining. 🙂 )

The first game involved Team Canada and Switzerland. Crosby was brought out twice during the shoot-out. He scored the winning goal. That game was narrated by Eddie O and Doc Emrick. I love Doc Emrick. Eddie O just talks WAY TOO MUCH!!

The second game was between Slovakia and Russia. I don’t know the name of the broadcasters…..but they were fantastic. It was an old-timer hockey broadcast. No extra talk. No b.s. Just reporting the game. If only this could carry over to the American market place. The game didn’t end until after midnight PST….but who cares?! It was so worth staying up for.

Note: US V Canada on Sunday…that means Pierre McGuire’s back….yikes…

When each of the games ended, I was exhausted. Lol. The games were so fast-paced and just pure entertainment. Hockey at its best. 🙂
