Strange Season for Wings Fans

Tht NHL regular season is coming to an end. Along with that comes a variety of feelings and emotions about being a Detroit Red Wings fan. At least, in my opinion. I am certain, however, that I am not alone on this.

I have attempted to put into words my feelings about being a Detroit Red […]

Wings Lose 3-0 Lead

The Detroit Red Wings had a 3-0 lead in the first period. Woohoo!! Then, the LA Kings came back. Wings lost 4-3.

Wings lost three players to IR…Miller, Eaves and Holmstrom. Miller and Eaves had ankle injuries. Holmstrom was just brought off IR and re-injured his knee. When is this going to end?

News: Wings traded Ville […]

People Think the Detroit Red Wings will "fall"?

Get a grip. I have been listening to NHL interviews with various sports writers, announcers and analysts. There is a hub bub (speculating talk) about the Detroit Red Wings being the team to watch since they lost Hossa and other key players. “The Red Wings may fall” is the statement. Apparently, these “hockey news” individuals […]

Wings Pummel Penguins in Game 5

The Detroit Red Wings are up 3-2 in the best of 7 series for bringing home the Stanley Cup. Pavel Datsyuk was back, too. The Penguins were showing their frustration by causing stupid penalties that just left one shaking their head wondering…”why?” Marian Hossa was also responsible for a stupid penalty, causing […]

Wings Lost to "The Kids"

I just received an entertaining tweet from The Detroit Red Wings.  It was titled…”Oops, let the kids in”.  🙂

The Detroit Wings lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in OT at the United Center in Chicago last night.  The Wings lead the Western Conference Finals best of seven series 2-1.

It was a great game, though. 🙂

Getting excited […]

Detroit Red Wings Up 2-0

The Detroit Red Wings beat the Chicago Blackhawks, 3-2, in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.  This gives the Wings a 2-0 series lead.  The game was played at Joe Louis Arena (“The Joe”) and broadcast on Versus.  It was a great game that went into OT.

For those readers of mine that are familiar […]

Chicago Blackhawks Advance to SemiFinals

Congrats are also in order to the Chicago Blackhawks for advancing to the next level of the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals. They beat the Calgary Flames to reach the semifinals.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. It’s just too cool to see the Blackhawks doing so well after all of these […]

Detroit Red Wings Advance to SemiFinals

The Detroit Red Wings just beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-5 in a great game at Columbus. The Wings have won the series 4-0 and are advancing to the next level of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Woohoo!!
