Hi everyone. We are living in a strange time that has us all with mixed feelings. Are you feeling down today? It’s OK…Especially during our COVID-19 pandemic.
Some personal insight into why I am writing this article:
I woke up this morning with the sun shining in my window. Songbirds chirping. Beautiful day. How nice it would be to get a change of scenery. Only thing is, we are in a ‘stay home’ situation. Bummer. Guess I will play my flute outdoors in my back and front yards. Music will change my mood. Always does. 🙂
It is OK to feel down today. Why? Some suggestions..
First, enjoy this virtual bouquet of mums to brighten your day.
You are human. Humans experience things in their own way.
Start being easier on yourself. Accept your feelings and let them ride.
Stop comparing yourself to others. Do your best with what you have.
Stop believing you are supposed to feel “up” all the time. If that was true, there would be no word like ’emotions’ which run the gamut from happy to depressed and beyond.
Gratitude. Do be grateful for what you have. No matter what. There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for.
Take news breaks. Take news breaks. Take news breaks. The fear mongering, stupidity, and negativity is enough to change anyone’s perspective for the worse…
