Heel Pain & A TKR

Hi my favorite readers! A topic has come up recently that seems worthy of a new post. It involves having heel pain and a total knee replacement. I have touched on this subject previously, but perhaps a new perspective is in order….

It’s been almost 5.75 years since my tkr. Very rarely do I experience heel pain. When it does happen it’s after walking for an extended period of time.

It usually occurs when my socks fail to provide minimal cushioning. The pain diminishes shortly after elevating the leg. A mild massage usually helps, also.

Perhaps others will pitch in about their heel pain experiences. Luckily (for my own selfish reasons…), I’m not much help.

Find this tkr blog post about heel pain and a total knee replacement interesting? Kindly share …thanks!
