Hi everyone. Food can be medicine. We all need to consume a variety of high calcium foods to strengthen our bones. This is especially true after a tkr. If you are interested in getting good nutrition and taste (and who isn’t?)…here are some foods that can help with relieving, preventing, and even reversing bone loss or osteoporosis. This is a major concern to me, so I thought others would find it interesting as well.
Low-fat or non-fat dairy products
Calcium enriched soy milk
Dark green vegetables such as broccoli, collard greens and bok choy
Calcium-fortified juices (Minute Maid makes a great orange juice variety)
Poppy seeds and sesame seeds
This information is well documented throughout online and offline sources.
Hope you found this tkr blog post about high calcium foods that strengthen your bones helpful. Find interesting? Kindly share…Thanks!
