Updating Booktoots Healing

Updating Booktoots Healing website

Hi everyone. Kindly pardon my site’s readability while I update the site I promise to finish it as soon as possible. It is no easy task updating this WordPress themed site, in my opinion. I’m doing by best, though on updating Booktoots’ Healing to satisfy your reading pleasure.

In the meantime, thanks for your patience.

Take some time to look around and read my articles/post on why you are not alone during your total knee replacement surgery recuperation. Or, if you are dealing with other conditions (aka leg length discrepancy, double vision, shortness of breath, etc.) – there may be something here for you. I am a tkr blogger who daily deals with all those issues.

Remember, I share my personal experiences on my tkr blog to help others feel less alone. Feel free to post a comment whenever possible, even when I am updating Booktoots Healing. How is that SEO?

Thanks again for all your support, patience, and fortitude.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to take this time and wish all of my readers (in the U.S. anyways…) a very Happy Thanksgiving. Even those not living in the U.S., have a wonderful day of gratefulness.

Remember there is plenty to be thankful for, even though there are times it does not seem like it.

When you feel like there is nothing to be thankful, or grateful, for….Just think of the alternative…..that’ll put a different perspective on things..:)

Enjoy!

Expressing Gratitude and Thanks To You

Hi everyone! It’s that time again for me to take a few moments and thank everyone for being so wonderful.

It is because of you and your continual support that this site has become so popular. And, it is only getting better, thanks to you! Your stories are helping others learn, expand, and find relief. Many of you communicate with other commenters. I regular get contacted by people referred by you, my readers. How wonderful….

I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for you feeling comfortable enough to express your concerns, experiences, and insight on our site. It impacts others in a manner that is probably far greater than you realize.

So…thank you for developing such a wonderfully supportive community of folks undergoing or living with a number of physicalities including a total knee replacement.

There is a saying that goes something like “for every cloud, there is a silver lining.” The cloud may be the physicality or total knee replacement, but the silver lining is the definite sense of community you have formed. THANK YOU!!

Being Thankful

Hi my favorite readers! It’s that special time of year when being thankful takes center stage. So…

I am thankful for all my wonderful readers who have visited my site and helped it develop into a readership of over 151,000. It is nice to have a strong support system where readers feel comfortable enough for share experiences.

I am thankful for being able to share my experiences and post them to the site. It’s reassuring knowing that my experiences may be helping someone else.

I am thankful for loving to exercise and feel my body move. After being in a body cast for two years, believe me…it’s a gift to move.

I am thankful for my parents for a variety of reasons.

I am thankful for my total knee replacement, which allows me to live without excessive and continuous pain.

I am thankful for my health, my most precious asset. From my youngest days, I was taught the importance of eating properly, being physically active and valuing my health. This is the main reason I am prescription free and proud of it.

I am thankful for my common sense which guides me towards smart choices.

I am thankful for my love of learning, writing, reading and stimulating my mind.

I am thankful for everyone who brings laughter, smiles, chuckles, sharing and caring into my life.

I am thankful for our military who sacrifice their lives for our liberties.

I am thankful to the person who invented pumpkin pie. There…I said it.

I am thankful for my creativity and talents. This includes with food and music.

I am thankful for those with perseverance, confidence and diligence to never give up on dreams. Like…Thomas Edison, Madame Curie, Leonardo DaVinci, etc. Inventors rock.

That sounds like enough for now. Oh wait….

I am TRULY thankful that I have been sparred from a troublesome total knee replacement recuperation that so many of my readers (perhaps you..) have experienced. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Blessings….

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!

A Quick Thank You

I wanted to take a quick moment and, once again, thank everyone who has ever participated in my blog. Without you, this blog would not be the success that it has become. This blog has recently reached over 78,000 readers…that is an accomplishment that is due to you and your input.

Booktoots’ Weblog has become a welcoming support community where others can come and express their ideas and concerns about undergoing a total knee replacement (tkr) and/or hockey. It is a treasure to be able to see how we all encourage each other and provide inspiration.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face and spirit, my online friends. 🙂
